Welcome to Biker Meetups. These Terms of Use ("EULA" / "Terms") govern your access to and use of the Biker Meetups mobile application, website (https://bikermeetups.co.uk), and all related services (collectively, the "Service"). The Service is operated by Biker Meetups ("we," "us," or "our").

By creating an account or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using Biker Meetups, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1A. Subscriptions (Apple In-App Purchases)

Biker Meetups Pro is sold as an auto-renewable subscription. Three plans are offered (prices shown are GBP base prices; your actual charge appears in your local App Store currency on the purchase screen and is set by Apple's storefront — these GBP figures are listed only for reference):

  • Founder: £2.99 / month (limited to the first 200 subscribers; locked at this price for the lifetime of an active subscription)
  • Monthly: £4.99 / month
  • Annual: £39.99 / year (equivalent to £3.33 / month, 33% saving vs. Monthly)

All Pro subscriptions include a 14-day free trial. After the trial, payment will be charged to your Apple ID at the price of the plan you chose. Your subscription will automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel your subscription by going to your iPhone Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions after purchase. Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

By starting a Pro subscription you confirm you have read and accept these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age. You are responsible for ensuring your use of the app complies with all local road laws.

3. Description of Service

Biker Meetups provides group ride discovery, live maps, navigation, and safety features.

4. Safety & Liability

  • Ride at Your Own Risk: We are not responsible for accidents, injuries, or deaths.
  • Navigation: Guidance only; follow road signs.
  • SOS/Crash Detection: A safety aid, not a guarantee of emergency response.

In jurisdictions that do not permit limitation of liability, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

5. User Conduct

No illegal activities, dangerous riding promotions, or harassment.

6. Pro Subscriptions & Billing

Pro features are recurring. Apple and Google handle all billing and transactions. Cancellations must be made via your App Store or Google Play settings.

7. Promotional Content

You may receive promotional emails or in-app banners. You can disable these via Profile → Notifications without affecting core service features.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
